QB Michael Vick looks forward to a return to the NFL next season, and he's putting potential suitors on notice that they better not try to pull a Tim Tebow on him.

"I'm not a backup", Vick told Tim McManus of Birds 24/7.

"Just being honest, just being candid. I'm a full-fledged starter," . "That's what I've got in me, that's what I provide, that's what I offer.

Whatever happens, wherever I end up, they're going to get 110 percent.

You're going to get the same thing out of me that you got the last two, three years, and that's 110 percent effort and a guy that's confident in his abilities to play and win."

Vick had been pretty gracious with the Philadelphia Eagles after being relegated to the number 3 spot on the depth chart, but that was only temporary. Now, he's very adamant about his expectations for next year... Hell, he used the cliche '110 percent' twice!

He sees himself as a bona fide starter come next season, wherever he may land. "I want to start. Yeah, I'm a starter."

"I just feel like I have made so many strides as far as learning the defensive part of the game and kind of piecing it together with the offense. I feel like over the last two years I've kind of gotten better in the protection game and learning defensive schemes," Vick said.

"I've got prime left, man. I'm just getting started."

Nnamdi Asomugha might be open to restructuring his contract

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha was asked how important it is for him to stay in Philly after this season. “I think really important. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else,” said Asomugha. So you would make decisions potentially coming from that stance? If sacrifices were asked to be made? “Yeah, I mean all I can say right now is I really wouldn’t want to be...

Michael Vick says he still has 'prime' left, 'just getting started'

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick hasn't had the year he hoped for. His team has been an utter disappointment at 4-10 and his individual performance hasn't been much better either. Philadelphia Eagles: Week 16 NFL Power Rankings (#29)

Last week: 28 (-1) Record: 4-10 Net points per drive: -0.47 (27th) DVOA: -20.7% (27th) Weighted DVOA: -23.6% (29th) Nick Foles showed a little bit of promise there for a few weeks, but he struggled on Thursday Night in a game the Eagles completely fell apart in, turning the ball over 4 times in 5 plays and blowing a 13-10 lead. Sigh...I guess we've got to do this...Redskins vs. Eagles game preview...

I guess we're dealing with Andy Reid's final home game as an Eagle... This doesn't make me happy. Yes, I know Andy's time has come and gone. He's brought me more good than bad, but we all know his tenure as head coach of this franchise has burned out like a candle in the wind. So what now? Welp, we play out the schedule. There's no getting around...
