As February 1st, National Signing Day, fast approaches the Michigan Football coaches are zeroing in on the final few recruits who will round out their tremendous 2012 recruiting class. Michigan’s class is currently ranked 7th by ESPNU, 4th by rivals.com and 3rd by scout.com Joshua Garnett There is a very real probability that Michigan will add another elite prospect to their already outstanding group of offensive linemen. Included in that crew are two US Army All-American’s, Kyle Kalis and Erik Magnuson. The class also features standouts in Blake Bars, Ben Braden, and Caleb Stacey. Now, Brady Hoke and his staff are on the verge of brining in Under Armor All-American and 4-star OT Joshua Garnett from Puyallup, WA. He is a 6-foot-5, 285 pound road grater and would be an outstanding addition to this recruiting class. He is good friends with Magnuson, who is doing his very best to convince Garnett to join him at Michigan. Another player the Wolverines appear to be in good shape for is TE Sam Grant out of Lakewood, Ohio. He was a high school teammate of Kyle Kalis and could flip from Boston College to Michigan. Michigan commit, Ondre Pipkins was dominant at the US Army All-American bowl week. The 4-star DT is a future star and should contribute as a true freshman. Pipkins also has a great personality and was voted captain of the West team. He was joined on the West team by linebackers James Ross and Royce Jenkins-Stone. Both LBs started for the west team and are a part of Michigan’s 2012 class. Another LB commit, Joe Bolden, starred at the Under Armor All-American game.  Bolden was named the best tackler in the UA Game. Joining Bolden on the UA Black team was fellow Michigan commit, Terry Richardson (4-star DB out of Detroit, Michigan). U-M remains a possibility for 4-star DB Armani Reeves. Here is a look at Michigan’s current list of 2012 commits.
