Merriam-Webster's Dictionary defines Turmoil as:  "A state or condition of extreme confusion, agitation, or commotion." It defines Controversy as:  "A discussion marked especially by the expression of opposing views : dispute." So what can we call the situations in San Diego, Philadelphia, Dallas, Kansas City and Arizona? Ken Whisenhunt will be let go from Arizona by season's end. Arizona's record since Whisenhunt took over: 44-44 (includes up to Week 8 of this year). He will get a job as the Head Coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. If that's the case then Romeo Crennel will be fired from KC. The Chiefs time of possession this year with the lead in games is 0:00 seconds. Enough said. Crennel can either go back to Cleveland and take a coordinator role or retire. My guess is at age 65, Crennel will call it a career. Norv Turner will also be fired. If he doesn't get fired before the season ends, he'll be fired on January 1st, 2013 (Chargers last game of the regular season is December 30th). He will not have a coaching job during the 2013 season. His current offensive coordinator Hal Hunter will take the OC job in Cleveland replacing the above mentioned Childress.  Jason Garrett will replace Turner and Hunter in San Diego as the Head Coach and OC. When you really look across the landscape of the NFL, a lot of guys "should" lose their jobs. Let me make things clearer by using a chart. Charts usually help. Coach Andy Reid Pat Shurmur Romeo Crennel Norv Turner Jason Garret Ron Rivera Ken Whisenhunt Brad Childress Hal Hunter Chip Kelly* Dick Jauron Mike Zimmer Dennis Allen Perry Fewell Nick Saban*Chain GaileyRex Ryan Todd Bowles   Current Job Philadelphia Head Coach Cleveland Head Coach Kansas City Head Coach San Diego Head Coach Dallas Head Coach Carolina Head Coach Arizona Head Coach Cleveland OC San Diego OC Oregon Head Coach Cleveland DC Cinccinnatti DC Oakland Head Coach New York Giants DC Alabama Head CoachBuffalo Head CoachNew York Jets Head Coach Philadelphia DC   Next Year's Job Dallas Head Coach Dallas QB Coach Retire Unemployed San Diego Head Coach/OC Oakland Head Coach Kansas City Head Coach Dallas OC Cleveland OC Philadelphia Head Coach Arizona Head Coach Carolina Head Coach New Orleans DC New York Jets Head Coach Cleveland Head CoachOakland OCReality TV Buffalo Head Coach   *That's right, I think Saban and Kelly will go pro next year!!! I don't think Jacksonville will make a coaching change. Mularkey will get another year, although I'm not sure if he'll enjoy it anymore than the fans will.   The rest of the coordinator positions will be filled with a number of assistant coaches. Don't forget about the Saints interim coaches Joe Vitt and Aaron Kromer. That experience will aid them in the long run Alex Wiesner October 30th, 2012Archives Be sure to check out other great articles at Mr Fantasy Freak. var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});

Snyder, Toler, Heap inactive for Cardinals

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- The Cardinals will be without starting right guard Adam Snyder and cornerback Greg Toler for Monday night's game against the 49ers. Snyder sustained a quadriceps injury in the team's 21-14 loss at Minnesota eight days ago and was inactive after being listed as questionable Saturday. Rich Ohrnberger replaced him in the starting lineup. Toler missed...

Kevin Kolb Is Still A Few Weeks Away From Returning

It doesn’t look like Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb will be returning to field any time soon. “Kolb has been doing some light throwing but doesn’t appear close to being ready to play,” writes Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic. Kolb was injured during Week 6′s loss to the Bills when he suffered multiple detached ribs. It would a surprise if he is able to play before...

Arizona Cardinals Mid-Season MVP

Now that the season is at its halfway point, it is easier to get an accurate reading of how good a team really is.  The Arizona Cardinals however may be one of the few exceptions to that thinking because of their very inconsistent play.  They started out the season hot, winning their first four games on their way to becoming a potential Super Bowl contender because of how well...

Colledge savors return to Lambeau

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Daryn Colledge had never been the player asked to do the conference call with the opposing team's local media. After all, as the offensive lineman who protected Brett Favre for two years and Aaron Rodgers for three seasons during his time with the Packers, Colledge wasn't exactly highly requested for those types of interviews. Now in his second year with...

WSU NOTEBOOK: Leach worth the wait

PULLMAN–The Cougs haven’t won many football games this season, but Mike Leach has won over plenty of reporters with his non-stop collection of lively quotes. Leach’s blunt appraisal of his players doesn’t go over well with some fans, and reporters bristle when he routinely shows up late for press conferences or post-game media sessions. When Leach does arrive, however, it’s...

As offense sputters again, Cards' D disappoints

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Never mind that the Cardinals offense looked as inept as ever Monday night -- that's old news. The story of the Cards' 24-3 loss to the 49ers was a sloppy, porous defense that failed a big test and helped push the team's season another step toward the proverbial cliff. "This was a big test for us tonight, and you saw how it went for us,"...
