For whatever reason, the 2009 Steelers can't seem to keep a fullback healthy to save their lives (OR their running game). Before the season even started, it was Sean McHugh to IR.Which paved the way for Frank Summers as the team's starting fullback, and David Johnson as a TE/FB. Now, Johnson's got an ankle spring, and Summers is on IR. So, it's back to Carey Davis and us trying to decide between Jameson, Everclear or a loaded gun. Form your own opinions on Carey Davis (like you wouldn't have if we didn't say that), but as far as we're (and I speak only for myself here, not Steve) concerned, the Steelers might as well have used that roster spot for a more talented player and used a blow up doll in the backfield. Anyone wanna defend Carey Davis here? Obviously he knows the plays and the system, so he's the natural choice. But are any of you actually excited about this?
