Found March 15, 2013 on Down and Distance:
Former Panthers and Raiders running back Mike Goodson is headed to back home to be a Jet. (Photo: Wikipedia) The Jets lost RB Shonn Greene to Tennessee this week and needed a solid back to pick up Greene’s work. Although Goodson is a reputable back I would imagine the Jets are still looking for help at the position. The Jersey native started his career in Carolina where he was drafted in the fourth round in 2009 and was never given a full chance at the gig before being traded to Oakland last offseason. The beefy back is a tad underrated, and this is a good pickup for gang green. He has 722 rushing yards on 160 attempts in his four-year career, averaging 4.5 YPA.   Follow us on Twitter @DownandDistance Down and Distance Editor-in-Chief – Justin Arbogast @NFLGuy_SK The post Mike Goodson is headed to New York appeared first on DOWN & DISTANCE.
