Mike McCarthy and the Packers have had their ups and downs in the 2012 season. The search for a steady running game, Greg Jennings being hurt and at times inconsistent play on offense and defense. The 2010 world champions pulled the ship together and scrapped to a 6-3 record but still trail the Chicago Bears by one game. As the Packers attempt to get healthy, the bye couldn’t have come at a better time for them. McCarthy talked about the first half, and what he told his player before leaving for some time off.
