PLAYERS: Adam Schefter
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that new Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell is unlikely to keep Mike Mularkey in place as their head coach next season. Caldwell worked with Mularkey while in Atlanta, but there has been a good of speculation that Caldwell would consider replacing him with 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman. Schefter adds that “no final decisions have been made” just yet, so there’s at least a remote a chance that Mularkey could survive to coach another season with the team.
