Pro Football Zone:
Despite rumors that the Titans are looking to trade wide receiver Kenny Britt, head coach Mike Munchak said “we have no plans” to trade him.
Munchak did leave the chance of Britt being traded open.
“Obviously, anything can happen,” Munchak said via The Tennessean. “But he needs to help us win games, and hopefully that will be this weekend.”
My guess is teams aren’t offering much with his knee issues and off the field problems. I doubt Britt will be going anywhere right now. But you can expect him to sign with another team this offseason when he hits free agency.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. In coaching parlance in the NFL, every game is a must win.
Against the backdrop of possibly dropping below .500 for the first time this season and heading into the bye week on a negative note, Titans coach Mike Munchak conceded that Sundays game against visiting San Francisco at LP Field is more of a must win than most. But he did so only after offering the obligatory...
According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, Titans quarterback Jake Locker returned to practice on Wednesday as he continues to nurse knee and hip injuries.
It looks like Locker could be a week or two away from playing.

The post Jake Locker returned to practice appeared first on Pro Football Zone.
Injured Tennessee quarterback Jake Locker says he's preparing to start Sunday against San Francisco.
The Titans aren't saying he will, but they're also not saying he won't.
Coach Mike Munchak said Thursday the Titans are going to wait and see how Locker feels after a second straight practice before deciding who starts against the 49ers.
"We're not going...
Jake Locker will start at quarterback for the Tennessee Titans on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, a person familiar with the situation said.
Titans coaches and trainers met Saturday and decided Locker should start rather than backup Ryan Fitzpatrick, the person told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the Titans did not announce the decision.
Jack Locker helped Tennessee jump off to a 3-1 record before injuring his knee and hip.
Ryan Fitzpatrick stepped in for Locker but hasn’t been able to pick up the slack. The Titans are 0-2 with Fitzpatrick at quarterback and they play the stingy 49ers defense this Sunday.
Locker wasn’t expected to return until after Tennessee’s week 8 bye but things changed when he was cleared...
Last week: 15 (+1)
The Titans hung tough in Seattle and were just the 2nd team to cover the spread there over the past 2 seasons. Ryan Fitzpatrick is obviously a limiting factor for this team and, to be fair, Jake Locker probably would have been as well once his interception rate increased from 0.0%. However, they have plenty of defensive talent and can frustrate opponents...
From the TitansOnline.com:NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans signed veteran LB Zac Diles and waived WRMichael Preston.Diles (6-2, 245) re-joins the Titans after signing with Kansas City in the offseason. He played in six games for the Titans last season and totaled 13 tackles before breaking his ankle in the Buffalo game (10/21) and being placed on injured reserve.Diles has...
Ever since Jake Locker hurt his hip and knee in Week Four against the Jets signs pointed to him making his return to the lineup after the Titans’ bye in Week Eight.
That plan took a turn this week when Locker returned to practice and coach Mike Munchak refused to rule him out of the game. Locker practiced again on Friday and Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that he took the...
Jake Locker by all accounts is ahead of schedule and is hoping to start Sunday against the 49ers. He has missed the past two games due to a hip injury that was expected to keep him sidelined through the bye, at the very least. However, Locker has been able to practice throughout the week and said himself that he is “preparing to start.”
It was just 19 days ago that we saw the...
The Tennessee Titans are mired in a two-game losing streak, and reversing the trend doesn’t get any easier for the franchise in the immediate future. The Titans now face a team streaking in the opposite direction, the San Francisco 49ers, this Sunday afternoon in Tennessee. Ryan Fitzpatrick has captained the ship for the Titans the last two weeks, as starting quarterback Jake...
When it comes underdogs, the NFL is full of them.
Take a look at the Kansas City Chiefs who are surging at 6-0. Give the New England Patriots credit for being 5-1 after being decimated by injuries. And don’t count out the Tennessee Titans, despite their 3-3 record.
While it may seem like the Titans’ hopes have been dashed as of late due to the injury to quarterback Jake Locker...
Just when a Tennessee Titans loss to the San Francisco 49ers seemed almost definite, Jake Locker shocks the (Titans) world- he recovers. The young starter has a possibility to play Sunday, and Coach Munchak said that if Locker dresses, he will start. So how does this affect the team and its chances to win? Here are The Spot's Titans Gurus' "X-Factors" to a Titans...
I have a post I want to write, but it's a film thing that'll take me some time to go through, so it'll go up when I finish it.
First, a big of self-publicity. I put in an appearance on Paul Kuharsky's Periodic Podcast, so give that a listen. We talked a little bit about me, what I'm doing here, how what's happened the first six weeks of the season kind...
The 49ers travel to Tennessee to take on the 3-3 Titans Sunday, who present a tough test on the road. Starting quarterback Jake Locker’s status might be in doubt, but their stout defense isn’t. Inside we break down the Titans in our latest edition of Knowing Your Opponent.
The San Francisco 49ers travel to Tennessee this weekend to play the Titans, who are dealing with injuries to starting quarterback Jake Locker. But Locker has returned to practice this week, leaving some question as to whether or not he will play. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said the team is preparing for Locker just in case.
