Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald wrote that the Patriots are showing interest in Steelers receiver Mike Wallace, but to be truthful, so is everyone else. The Miami Dolphins for one, are said to be very, very interested. So, if you hear another team in your division is also interested, they might just be trying to drive up the price. Pro Football Talk ran with the report this morning, citing Salguero's article, but it's really nothing to report on. So why are we reporting on it? Good question. "An NFL agent which I trust but does not represent Wallace told me early Saturday that he has it on good authority the New England Patriots are one of the teams showing some interest in the prospective Pittsburgh Steelers free agent," Salguero said. He was also told by a league source that multiple teams are showing interest in Wallace and it started "well before midnight." The period of 'legal tampering' begins today. var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
