Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace, who signed a five-year, $60 million contract, caught just one pass for 15 yards during the Dolphins’ 23-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns. He was not happy with the coaches after the game. According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland led a “visibly angry” Wallace off the field, putting his arm around the players waist, escorting him away from other people. Can I walk with you, I asked? “I don’t feel like talking,” Wallace grumbled. Can you talk about the game? “I don’t want to talk,” he answered. Another reporter joined us and asked, “Can you talk about the game plan?” “I don’t feel like talking about it. Ask coach.” As he was walking away, Wallace was asked about the lack of targets in the first half. “Ask coach,” he said. “It’s not my game plan.” Another question: In the second half they threw to you right away. Was something said at halftime? “Ask coach.”  Wallace was targeted five times during the game, while Brian Hartline was targeted 15 and Brandon Gibson was targeted ten times. Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill said Cleveland doubled Wallace for much of the game. “I think they did a lot of things to take [Wallace] away,” Tannehill said. “They clouded him and put a guy over the top. It’s frustrating for him and our offense, as well. We want to give him the ball, and he’s going to play a big factor in this offense the rest of the year. Today just wasn’t the day for him.”   The post Mike Wallace upset with Dolphins coaches after win appeared first on Sports Glory.
