Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams recently stated that he believed they were close to getting a contract extension done.
After looking at Williams’ tweet from yesterday it doesn’t sound like he’s very encouraged with the fact that something hasn’t gotten done yet.
I FEEL LIKE MY FAMILY DON'T WANT ME….HAVENT I BEEN EVERYTHING YOU WANTED AND MORE WHY IS THIS SO HARD FOR YALL. .. AND WE SAY FAMILY FIRST

What’s interesting is that Bucs head coach Greg Schiano often uses the word “family,” according to Stephen Holder of the Tampa Bay Times.
A couple important things to note here: Williams tends to be a bit dramatic in his use of social media, so take this for what it’s worth. Also, last we heard, the Bucs and Williams’ agent were still in regular communication and were still aiming to get a deal done.
Williams needs to calm down and accept the fact that the NFL is a business.
