The Patriots released defensive lineman Mike Wright on Wednesday, putting his future in football in further doubt. Defensive Lineman Mike Wright was released yesterday by the Patriots.
Other than him retiring, his release seemed imminent. Wright suffered a concussion on November 21, 2010 against the Colts that ended his season.
He made his return in the 2011 opener against Miami only to suffer another concussion, and was subsequently placed on injured reserve.
