PLAYERS: Von MillerJohn Elway
TEAMS: Denver Broncos
(Eds: APNewsNow. With AP Photos.) By ARNIE STAPLETON AP Pro Football Writer Von Miller was such an athletic freak coming out of Texas A&M that his mentor, former Aggies coach Mike Sherman, joked he probably could have crumpled quarterbacks with one hand tied behind his back. That's sort of what the Denver Broncos strongside linebacker was forced to do after tearing ligaments in his right thumb last November. He played the stretch run and the playoffs with a cast that prevented him from grabbing and shedding offensive linemen. Although he faded toward the finish and was even benched in some situations, the second overall pick in last year's draft went on to win NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors and made the Pro Bowl, a validation of John Elway's first big move as the Broncos' boss. It's only gotten better.

Kuper, Tamme, Thomas dinged-up for Broncos

The good news for Denver’s offensive line is that the injury sustained by guard Chris Kuper on Sunday is not as bad as it could have been.  The bad news is that he’ll likely miss a month of football due to a severely sprained left ankle. This is not the first time Kuper has had ankle woes, as a dislocated left ankle abruptly ended his 2011 season in January, causing him to miss...

Von Miller Will Do “Superman” If He Sacks Cam Newton

Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller is turning into a sack master extraordinaire, and those sacks all go to a good cause. Former NFL running back LenDale White excited about Colorado legalizing Pot

You remember former NFL tailback (read: bust) and USC star LenDale White, correct? White was drafted by Tennessee and also played for the Denver Broncos. Wrongly appeasing the wishes of Rex Ryan and Tony Sparano to add mass, Tim Tebow is now too muscular to ever become a competent NFL quarterback

Since thriving last year as a member of the Denver Broncos, polarizing quarterback Tim Tebow has added more than a dozen pounds of muscle mass to his already imposing frame. Tebow, the winner of the 2007 Heisman Trophy who led … Continue reading →

Holliday makes fast impact for Broncos

The linebacker sprawled out and barely got a hand on Trindon Holliday. Not enough of a hand. Eight seconds later, Holliday was gone. The NFL's shortest - and quite possibly fastest - player says he has never been caught from behind and it didn't come close to happening last Sunday, either. The 105-yard kickoff return for a touchdown against Cincinnati went down as the longest...

Denver Broncos at Carolina Panthers: Three Bold Predictions

If you strictly look at records going into the matchup between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers in Week 10 of the NFL season, this looks like an incredible mismatch between a 5–3 record versus 2–6. As with many situations in football, however, the numbers don’t even begin to tell the story.Carolina has been one of the most snake bitten teams in the 2012 season, as...

Finding Diamonds In The Rough
