When practicing with the full squad during OTAs (organized team activities) earlier this week, Cardinals fourth-round draft pick Logan Thomas would get reps here and there. Most of them came on the auxiliary field, away from where the first-teamers practice.
But as the team's rookie minicamp opened Friday, with practice in the team's indoor bubble, Thomas was front and center. Fellow quarterback Eric Kordenbrock, in camp on a tryout basis out of Virginia Military Institute, barely touched a ball.
"You get to see multiple, different things that you don't normally get to see," Thomas said of the new workload. "I get two snaps every five reps on the other field (during OTAs), and here I got every one of them. It's very nice being able to have that chance to see things."
