Stafford (hamstring) was not healthy enough to play in the fourth quarter, but he is expected to be better than ever at home against the Vikings. Calvin Johnson will be going up against a Vikings secondary that has struggled for years, but they are magically ranked eighth in the NFL for total yards allowed per game. Harrison Smith and Antoine Winfield are the two thumpers in the secondary that will be keying on the Lions potent passing attack, but this game comes down to Stafford’s ability to avoid the critical mistakes. Stafford has 3 TD and 4 INT, but his numbers need to increase or else this NFC dark horse contender will officially become pretenders if they drop another expected victory.
