For the Lions, it pretty much what was expected. 4 starters out: 1/2 the secondary in Delmas and Houston, starting RB Smith and the man who was replacing DT Ndamukong Suh, Fairley. Maurice Morris takes over for Smith, Aaron Berry for Houston and Chris Harris for Delmas. I'd think Sammie Hill gets the start at DT.
But...
The Vikings not having Peterson is reason to celebrate! Not that he's injured, of course...but when taken with the Lions' inability to stop the run with consistency, I'll take anything which could give them an advantage.

The Lions are currently in a season funk. The team has dealt with everything from an early hot start, key injuries, Ndamukong Suh’s suspension, and a three game losing streak.

I can’t honestly say that I have ever been more frustrated watching a sporting event than I was watching the second half of the Lions-Vikings game on Sunday.

The 4th quarter starts with a nicely designed fake reverse into a screen to Williams. 1st down at the Vikes' 23.

I am an old lady and have stuck by the Lions through thick and thin, mostly thin. Now we have a good team and some hotheads have to ruin things. My kindergarten classes all learned not to hit; it just gets you in trouble. The second person to hit causes the fight; if you get hit, walk away, no fight and the hitter gets in trouble.
