This is absolutely outstanding.  A great job by the coaching staff to try and keep players loose and having fun.  The NFL is a grind, and this is a great way to take some of the pressure off of these players. The defensive lineman looked like they took control of this competition, with Everson Griffen and Fred Evans stealing the show.Video via: Vikingsupdate.com

Records Were Made to Be Broken

With two weeks left in the regular season, the race for MVP has been whittled down to a two-man contest, Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson. While arguments can also be made for Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and J.J. Watt, the reality is that Manning and Peterson both overcame impossible, insurmountable odds. And both performed at a level that exceeded all expectations. Manning, as...

The Minnesota Vikings are 8-6 and contending for a playoff spot, and they sure know how to keep the atmosphere loose. At the end of their practice Friday, several players began breakdancing. It’s always kind of refreshing to see pro athletes break the monotony and let their proverbial...

Former Vikes’ QB Embarrassed with Minnesota Passing Game

Former Vikings QB Fran Tarkenton passed his way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, so he knows a thing or two about how an offense should be ran, and what a passing game should consist of. Former Vikings QB Frank Tarkenton is none too happy...

Cook eager to come off IR against Texans

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Minnesota Vikings cornerback Chris Cook had his eyes on Sunday's game at Houston as soon as the schedule was released, relishing the opportunity to match up with tall, physical Texans receiver Andre Johnson. But after he broke his arm earlier in the season, Cook likely circled the date heavily and adorned his calendar with stars. He fractured the radius bone...

Adrian Peterson Worthy of MVP? All Day

Man, he’s fast. Very. At the moment all eyes are on Adrian Peterson, the NFL’s most dynamic running back. Against his opponents on the ground, Peterson bursts through the seam and races down the field, then drives into the end zone. The beauty of the Vikings’ resurgence in the Twin Cities, a town where fans haven’t had much to be excited about, is because of Peterson’s...

Vikings' key versus Texans is slowing Watt

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. How uptight are the Minnesota Vikings with the playoffs on the line over the season's final two weeks? Minnesota is focused on trying to win its third road game of the season Sunday when it travels to 12-2 Houston before the season finale at home against...
