In November, as the Kansas Jayhawks were winding down a 1-11 season in the first year under coach Charlie Weis, there was a vow that Weis would do whatever it took to fix things in Lawrence. On Wednesday, Weis and his staff could celebrate, as they took a major step in doing that with a recruiting class that is cracking the top 25 in some circles.
