TEAMS:
Denver Broncos
Broncos: 35 Chargers: 24 Peyton Manning has gotten his elusive first road win since becoming a Denver Bronco, and he got it in dramatic fashion. The Broncos trailed the majority of the game, being down 24 points come half time against a red-hot Chargers team led by Philip Rivers. The Chargers had a tale of two different halves. In the beginning the Chargers came out strong right from the gate with Rivers connecting to Antonio Gates with lightening precision (no pun intended). Peyton threw a pick to veteran Quentin Jammer who returned it for a touchdown, taking the Chargers to a commanding 17-0 lead. It didn’t take long before another Rivers to Antonio Gates connection, which gave the Chargers a 24-0 half time lead. All seemed to be going perfect for the Chargers. After the half, the Broncos soon got their act together and in the 3rd quarter Peyton Manning got the Broncos on the board, followed by a series of on target passes which gave Denver all the momentum, solidified by a number...

Peyton Manning makes comical effort at tackle
Before Peyton Manning led the Broncos’ comeback on Monday Night Football, he had to provide us with some comic relief. If I had four neck surgeries, I probably wouldn’t be too keen about throwing my body in front of linebackers blocking on a Pick 6. Let’s be honest, Peyton Manning isn’t never going to be Peyton Manning of old, but you know who he reminds me of? Muhammad Ali...
Ronnie Hillman On The Rise in Denver
Denver rookie running back Ronnie Hillman was shown a lot of confidence by the Broncos coaching staff on Monday night. He was the primary backup for Willis McGahee and played in third-and-long blitzing situations.Fantasy Spin:Coach John Fox doesn't have a history of using rookie running backs so the fact that Hillman is ahead of Knowshon Moreno and Lance Ball just six games into...
The Sheriff is back and in a BIG way in San Diego
If anyone doubted Peyton Manning, they had better put them away as the Sheriff is back in town. Manning saw his Broncos get behind and completely outplayed in the first half, trailing 24-0 and no hope in sight, but like in other games this season, the “Sheriff” as people call Manning, stepped up and took the team on his back… again as the Broncos along with 6 Charger turnovers...
Ronnie Hillman could be getting a bigger role in Denver
Ronnie Hillman is a very young back, that needs to learn patience, but if you watched the game last night, you could see Willis McGahee didn’t have that break away speed anymore. Ronnie Hillman was brought in because of his change of pace skills. Hillman is not being utilized correctly by the Broncos, they are trying to use him between the tackles, when he has the speed to take...
Maybe Fox will finally get out of Manning's way
SAN DIEGO By all accounts, nobody in the Denver Broncos locker room put his fist through a blackboard at halftime Monday night. Nobody yelled and screamed, or kicked over a water cooler.
The Broncos, trailing by 24 points at halftime, were surprisingly calm. But it did not mean they were not filled with regret.
Omar Bolden was sorry he fumbled a kickoff. Trindon Holliday lamented...

Onward Steelers; Like It or Not, Time for Back-Ups to Step Up
Head Coach Mike Tomlin came down from on high for his weekly press conference and announced what sounded more like a list of soldiers in the infirmary rather than a list of injured football players.
