I led the pick ‘em league this week with a 10-5 ATS record, but the posted picks went 1-2 ATS which I apologize for. I hit on the Texans pick, but fell victim to another shocking upset with the Seahawks topping the Ravens. Logic would dictate that if the Ravens beat the Steelers twice, and the Steelers beat the Bengals, and the Bengals destroyed the Seahawks, that the Ravens should destroy the Seahawks, but logic doesn’t always play out in the NFL, especially when trying to pick road favorites to win. But we hit on the Falcons as road favorites last week and hit on the Texans as road favorites this week — you win some, you lose some. Onto Monday Night.
MINNESOTA VIKINGS @ GREEN BAY PACKERS (-13)
I would lean Packers at home on Monday Night. Their offense is just dominating, but the Vikings have improved since they’ve put in Christian Ponder at QB. I don’t liking giving up so many points since a 7-10 point win by the Packers is within the realm of possib...

Vikings Vs. Packers Preview: Pondermonium Hits Lambeau
It’s been 15 days since the Vikings last played a game. Maybe that explains why tonight’s Packers-Vikings match-up feels bigger than your usual Packers-Vikings Monday nighter. 15 days of building anticipation is liable to make any game seem slightly inflated in importance. But of course the two week build-up isn’t the only reason Viking fans are so stoked for this...

GREEN BAY, Wis. Christian Ponder's first pass as an NFL starter three weeks ago, a beautifully executed 71-yard strike against undefeated Green Bay, revved the Minnesota Vikings' battered psyche and represented the indelible moment for the rookie in a game that slipped away late.
In the rematch between the two NFC North rivals on...
Notebook: Defenses adjusting to Ponder
The Packers made some predictable adjustments, but the Vikings and Christian Ponder couldn’t capitalize. Plus, Christian Ballard’s start may be temporary, the Vikings are back to being penalty-prone, and a number of Monday Night Football notes that keep haunting Minnesota.
Purple Jesus Diaries Masturbatory Primetimie Game Preview: Prepare to get Shirtless
Take your shirt off: Ooooh, yeah girl. I know you been thinking about Mr. Ponder all weekend long. You out drinking a gin and ginger ale on Friday night at Sally's, thinking which one of those meat heads with the popped collar you're going to settle for and take home with you so he can get all sloppy on you from behind while you fantasize about Christian Ponder's white...
Defense takes control, Packers pound Vikings 45-7
So much for all that talk about Clay Matthews' sack slump.
The Green Bay Packers' primary pass rusher took down Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Christian Ponder twice, leading a defensive resurgence as the Packers blew out the Vikings 45-7 on Monday night.
''Tonight was no different than any other night for me,'' Matthews said. ''It was just...
Packers defense pitches a shutout in first half
The Vikings defense has actually done a nice job overall on the amazing Aaron Rodgers Monday night. Yet Minnesota still trails 17-0 at halftime. The Packers scored quickly on a Randall Cobb punt return, and their defense picked off Christian Ponder to help keep Minnesota off the scoreboard. Rodgers has made a few ridiculous throws,…
