Darryl Tapp has played a wild card at times during this training camp. He's a defensive end, but there are times in the Seahawks' third-down pass-rush package that he has lined up as a linebacker, shifting between gaps at the line of scrimmage. On Monday, there was a time he put his hand down, lining up as a conventional end, but dropped back into coverage, defending the tight end. So what does coach Jim Mora foresee as Tapp's role?"We'd like to use him specifically as a third-down pass rusher," Mora said, "and then as a spot guy on first and second down. I think someone made a comment [Monday] that Tapp always looks good in training camp, and then sometimes disappears in the season."I wouldn't dispute that, but I think this year, it'll be a different story."
