Bill Belichick conducted his last practice before letting the boys go for their bye week time off.
Colleague Ian Rapoport, who was on hand at the indoor practice at the Dana Farber Fieldhouse, reports Tom Brady once again wasn’t present. It’s likely the Patriots want to give their star quarterback as much rest as possible, and if his arm is a bit weary at this stage of the season - he wore a wrap during one point of Sunday’s game - all the more reason for a break from throwing.
Also missing were left tackle Matt Light, cornerback Ras-I Dowling and linebacker Dane Fletcher. They were also absent during yesterday’s session.
Linebacker Jerod Mayo, who injured his left knee during the Raiders game two weeks ago, was present for his third practice, and looks to be on target returning after the bye week in Pittsburgh.
