After hearing the bad news about Sam Bradford's high ankle sprain, the Rams finally got a bit of good news this afternoon on Rodger Saffold and Cadillac Williams. Both of their MRI's came back negative according to Jim Thomas. This is fantastic news to a team who has been absolutely decimated by injuries thus far this season. They are officially listed as day to day.

According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, wide receiver Brandon Lloyd did not receive a contract extension from the Rams. The Rams will pay the remainder of Lloyd's base salary, $900,000 over the next 11 games, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. I'm still in the dumps over the Patriot Stink, Lions Stank and Jets Stunk losses. Losing Stinks, being 2-3 stinks, being in the NFC East stinks because all the other teams stink too. The only thing good about playing the St. Louis Rams this week is that they stink even worse than we do. I'll be more positive tomorrow but for right now:
