The Oakland Raiders may be giving Terrelle Pryor a chance to win the team's starting quarterback job after he played well in the preseason.
The Oakland Raiders are having second thoughts about starting quarterback Matt Flynn.
Acquired by Oakland in the offseason the 28-year-old Flynn was considered a near lock to start at quarterback for Week 1 of the season. However, Flynn’s poor arm and underwhelming decision making during the preseason are giving the Raiders reason to turn to Terrell Pryor.
While the Raiders don’t have the NFL’s worst quarterback situation in the NFL, they’re also not in an ideal position on the other hand.
Matt Flynn is a solid player that is ideally a very good NFL back up. The problem is that he’s the Raiders starter right now and he wasn’t very impressive during Friday night’s preseason game.
