Apparently onesies aren’t just for kids anymore. Just days ago, we brought you Patriots running back Stevan Ridley wearing footie pajamas in a local television commercial. Apparently Ridley just started a trend for the rest of the NFL.

We don’t have a lot of context for this photo, but we do know it features Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne and his wife, and that it was originally pulled from his wife’s Facebook page. Beyond that we have no idea if the photo was intended for a humorous Christmas card, as just a joke between the couple or if it’s truly sincere.

Nonetheless, we submit to you a picture of an NFL quarterback wearing footie pajamas.

Stevan Ridley, Corey Dillon and the balanced Patriots offense

Stevan Ridley reached the 1000 yard plateau during Sunday’s win When the New England Patriots traded for Corey Dillon in 2004, plenty of people saw it as a game-changer for the New England Patriots. Despite the fact that Tom Brady was still young and not yet TOM BRADY, the Patriots offense leaned a little too heavily on the passing game. Antowain Smith was the team’s leading...

Chad Henne was recruited by Tony Sparano for the Jets

Quarterback Chad Henne is enjoying a career resurgence as the new lead-man for the Jacksonville Jaguars. If you let him tell it, regardless of how the chips would have fallen, he would have seen the field this year as he was heavily recruited by the New York Jets to back-up Mark Sanchez.  Please Click Here To Read This Story

Henne and the Jets: Jaguars QB has good history vs. Gang Green

Despite their shortcomings this season, the New York Jets face a pretty workable task Sunday in the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, the Jaguars have one thing going for them -- their backup quarterback. Jacksonville signal-caller Chad Henne, who took over under center a few weeks ago for the injured Blaine Gabbert, is slated to face a familiar foe this week -- one he should have a...

Jacksonville Jaguars future begins now

After a disappointing loss to the Buffalo Bills, the Jacksonville Jaguars look like the same team as last year. Season’s like the Jaguars have are usually about growth and seeing the growth rewarded with victories. At 2-10, the Jags are looking like they have regressed. Many people, including myself, thought this team was ascending and growing into a potentially playoff caliber...

Jaguars Keeping Chad Henne & Blaine Gabbert In Place For Next Season?

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jacksonville Jaguars are likely evaluating QB Chad Henne for the remainder of the season with the intentions of giving him a shot to compete with Blaine Gabbert again next season. “My guess is both quarterbacks will be back there next season, but Jacksonville would have no problems going with Henne, especially if he performs well down the...

Jets Wanted Chad Henne, Not Tim Tebow, to Compete With Mark Sanchez for Quarterback Job

The quarterback controversy in New York appears to have no end in sight. And another wrinkle just made it even more complicated. Mark Sanchez is keeping his starting job, for now. But after being benched for third-stringer Greg McElroy last week, and chants for Tim Tebow continuing to fill the stands at MetLife Stadium, Sanchez may not have that job for very long. Now, as the Jets...

Pats offensive balance a challenge for Texans

Stevan Ridley has emerged as a top running back in his second pro season. He's not the only Patriots rusher Texans coach Gary Kubiak has to worry about. The revived New England ground game, with Shane Vereen and Brandon Bolden as backups, has brought balance to an offense that relied more heavily on quarterback Tom Brady in recent years. Ridley, in his second pro season, is...

Initial Reaction – Ugly But Winning Football, Jets Move To 6-7

It has been far from pretty but the New York Jets have won two games in a row and three of their last four after today’s 17-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Somehow they remain relevant in the AFC Playoff picture for the final wild-card spot, thanks to losses from both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals today. The Jets have fully embraced their 2009 style of...

Week 14 AFC East game picks: Jets at Jaguars

Lead writer Nick St. Denis and AFC East Daily contributors Dan Begnoche and Sean Donovan pick the New York Jets' AFC road matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Nick's take: Jets running backs Shonn Green and Bilal Powell will have every chance to succeed against the league's second-worst run defense, which has surrendered 16 touchdowns on the ground this season. Plus...

Patriots' stout third-down offense to face tough test

BThe New England Patriots have put together some pretty impressive stats this season — averaging more than 35 points per game, boasting a plus-24 takeaway rating. Most impressive, however, many be the offense's success on third down. Since the mid-'90s, New England has put up some stellar numbers on third down, but it's never finished with higher than a 50 percent conversion...

Some Dolphins players felt 'disrespected' by Patriots' repeatedly calling run plays that worked

No offense angers its past opponents quite like the New England Patriots'. Last Sunday, the Patriots were beating the Miami Dolphins by a touchdown midway through the fourth quarter. With just over eight minutes to go, the Patriots started a 16-play drive that ate more than seven minutes. During the drive, the Patriots ran the ball 13 times, with 10 carries going to Stevan Ridley...
