Who could have imagined that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick could have gone from clipboard holder to star in the matter of six weeks and a Super Bowl run. Alex Smith got knocked out of a week 10 matchup, and the rest is history.  Kaepernick is now the talk of football, and ad campaigns have taken notice. Kaepernick according to CSN Bay Area now has an endorsement deal with Jaguar. The quarterback received a brand new maroon convertible that has a $92,000 price tag, 495 horsepower and has a top speed of 186 mph. Kaepernick as only he could, celebrated by “Kaepernicking” in front of his new vehicle.

  • SWEET!
  • It is wrong that all these ball players get piad so much, when someone in the military is fighting half way around the world with a pay so low a lot of them quailify for food stamps. They can't even get that because of being in the military. Where in the hell are our priorties.
  • Our country has had the priorities wrong for years, & it just keep getting worse! Our soldiers deserve a lot more than just "Thanks for your service"! They deserve to be paid better than poverty level! They deserve to come home & protect our country instead of everyone else!!
  • I'm a 49ers fan, but this disgust me! Pampered, and over paid idiots.
  • I'll second that! I have loved the 9ers forever, but Kaepernick makes me sick.
  • I would wonder why Colin makes you sick, especially as a Niner fan, as a person Colin is a class act and as an athlete he is exceptional. Whats the issue ? the tats ? and pampered and overpaid ? ahh duh thats what society has created don't hate the person or at least not one like Colin Kaepernick, save it for the likes of Josh Hamilton or Floyd Maywether
  • Why so mad? Many would ask for a lot more for an endorsement. If i could get a nice car just for taking a picture with it then i would. I think it is just fine to take an offer that is given. If there is any problem it is in the system that allows it, not the person that benefits from it.
  • If someone offered me a Jag because of my job I would take it and so would all of you
  • I still think hes Smellin his ARMPIT!
  • Kiss the Arm of Faith. I love it.
  • he needs more money for some more tatoo's

Report: Yankees don't want to pay A-Rod home run bonuses

The current relationship between Alex Rodriguez and the New York Yankees seems contentious, to say the least. For further proof of that, we have the Yankees reportedly looking to get out of paying A-Rod some bonus money. In addition to the roughly $20 million per season Rodriguez is owed over the next three years, he...Read More

Report: NFL has potential video evidence with Deflategate

Deflategate won’t be dying down anytime soon. Report: Rams, other teams interested in Nick Foles

To say that the St. Louis Rams need to find a long-term solution at quarterback would be a major understatement. This is a team that has been held back by that position ever since Marc Bulger started regressing in 2007. Since then, it’s been former No. 1 overall pick Sam Bradford that has led an uninspiring performance for a Rams team that is 21 games under .500. So it shouldn’t...

Tom Brady: 'My feelings got hurt' in Deflategate controversy

Tom Brady might have it all — dream job, dream wife, oodles and oodles of money — but he’s a human being just like everyone else.   That means the New England Patriots quarterback gets sad from time to time, and that apparently was the case this past week. Brady was at the center of the seemingly never-ending saga that is DeflateGate, and No. 12 took it hard. Brady discussed...

Pete Carroll empathizes with Belichick, Pats in Deflategate

I never checked on the whole process of how our footballs were handled until this week, and I can empathize with Coach Belichick in that same way,” Carroll told reporters in a press conference Sunday, via NFL.com. “I never have, so I can understand that he never has either.”   Belichick talked at length about that process in an impromptu press conference Saturday, adding...
