Let’s get one thing out of the way here: Any excuse we have to re-post this all-time awesome mug shot is going to be seized. This mug shot was taken by Oakland Raiders DT Desmond Bryant over the weekend, and it belongs in the Hall of Fame of mug shots. Heck, it’s so splendid, it should get its own bust in Canton before Michael Strahan. As you know by now, Bryant was arrested Sunday on a misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief for allegedly drunkenly causing a disturbance at a neighbor’s house (did the neighbors not have ADT?). His incredible mugger has made its way around the Internet and reached the late night talk show circuit this week. Host Jimmy Kimmel was so enthralled with the mug shot, he decided to turn it into a social media trend. Kimmel asked his “Jimmy Kimmel Live” viewers Wednesday to do their best Bryant impressions and send him the picture over Twitter using the hashtag “#dezzing.” Below are several photos of people “dezzing,” beginning with Kimmel staffer Guillermo: #dezzing @jimmykimmel twitter.com/vincentoooo/st… — Vincent Saldaña (@vincentoooo) March 1, 2013 @jimmykimmel #dezzing twitter.com/Luke_Sykes_/st… — Luke Sykes (@Luke_Sykes_) February 28, 2013 @jimmykimmel #dezzing twitter.com/z_danger/statu… — BSnG (@z_danger) March 1, 2013 @jimmykimmel #dezzing twitter.com/busty_ben/stat… — Ben Forsberg(@busty_ben) March 1, 2013 i hope you like my #dezzing @jimmykimmel twitter.com/eikelohmann/st… — Eike Lohmann (@eikelohmann) February 28, 2013 @jimmykimmel me #dezzing from the hospital. Several teams interested in Bucs' No. 1 overall pick?

Not too long ago, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would select former Heisman winner Jameis Winston with the first overall pick in this week’s NFL draft. While that may still very well be the case, there are some suggestions out there that the brass in Tampa isn’t exactly sold on Winston’s character. Potentially related to those suggestions...

DeMarco Murray: 'I'm not worried about the Cowboys'

The Dallas Cowboys made it quite easy for running back DeMarco Murray to seek out other teams last month after they did not offer him the contract he desired. Along came the Philadelphia Eagles with their deep pockets, who signed Murray to a five-year, $40 million contract. This was a price tag that the Cowboys were not willing to pay to keep Murray playing in Dallas. Harboring...

Turner has great quote in defense of Bridgewater

Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback Teddy Bridgewater choked during a particular portion of his pro day workout last year. This was something that may have caused him to slip to the 32nd overall pick in last year’s draft. The exact drill where Bridgewater struggled was when he was to throw a pass over raised brooms which were supposed to simulate an oncoming pass rush. Bridgewater’s...

Gary Bettman's quote about expansion makes no sense

Expansion continues to be a hot topic in the NHL and Gary Bettman was recently asked about the possibility of a new team joining the Eastern Conference. Based on the current structure of the league (14 teams in the West and 16 in the East), the obvious solution is to place two teams in the West to balance things out. Would Bettman consider adding a team in the East if the right...
