Let’s get one thing out of the way here: Any excuse we have to re-post this all-time awesome mug shot is going to be seized. This mug shot was taken by Oakland Raiders DT Desmond Bryant over the weekend, and it belongs in the Hall of Fame of mug shots. Heck, it’s so splendid, it should get its own bust in Canton before Michael Strahan.

As you know by now, Bryant was arrested Sunday on a misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief for allegedly drunkenly causing a disturbance at a neighbor’s house (did the neighbors not have ADT?). His incredible mugger has made its way around the Internet and reached the late night talk show circuit this week.

Host Jimmy Kimmel was so enthralled with the mug shot, he decided to turn it into a social media trend. Kimmel asked his “Jimmy Kimmel Live” viewers Wednesday to do their best Bryant impressions and send him the picture over Twitter using the hashtag “#dezzing.”

Below are several photos of people “dezzing,” beginning with Kimmel staffer Guillermo:

It’s up to Carson Palmer if he wants to help his team improve

Let’s be honest here, Carson Palmer has made a boat load of money for not doing much. 2013 is the year Raiders fans find out who the true Carson Palmer is - the one who looked on the verge of greatness in 2006, or the guy everyone has been watching ever since. General manager Reggie McKenzie said there will be a quarterback competition; coach Dennis Allen echoed those statements.

Mortensen: Raiders interested in QB Geno Smith

The 2013 NFL Draft is a little less than two months aways, but the rumors of which team might be interested in who are already flying around. Here’s the report, via Rotoworld: “Word [...]

The Late Al Davis Should Be Rolling in His Grave With The Thought Of His Raiders Hiring Holmgren

The Raiders need to have their heads examined. To consider hiring Mike Homgren to run any part of the Oakland Raiders football organization after the job he didn’t do in Cleveland is a slap in the face to Al Davis. Holmgren that existed once no longer is available. The work ethic no longer comes as part of the package when a team hires Mike Holmgren. What you get is a very expensive...

Mort: “Word around the NFL is the Raiders have interest in Geno Smith”

Back in Janurary, Matt Miller of Bleacher Report mentioned that the Oakland Raiders really like former West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith. Don’t Come Back Jamarcus Russell!

As an Oakland Raiders fan, I can say that I truly HATE JaMarcus Russell.  He’s apparently taking his NFL return seriously. I just watched a video where Russell was being mentored in physical and football training by former QB Jeff Garcia. Let me take you back to my draft day in April of 2007: My … Continue reading »

Barrett Robbins is the last person to ask about Bill Callahan’s Super Bowl game plan

Former Oakland Raiders wide receiver Tim Brown created quite a stir last month in the lead up to the Super Bowl, by claiming that Bill Callahan, his coach when the Raiders lost to the Bucs in Super Bowl XXXVII, changed the game plan just a couple of days prior in order to help his friend Jon Gruden get his ring. This of course created a bit of a stir, and Jerry Rice backed the claim...

Raiders Interested In Taking QB Geno Smith No. 3 Overall?

ESPN’s Christ Mortensen reported on NFL 32 that there are rumors circulating around the league that the Raiders have interest in taking West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith with the No. 3 overall pick. “Word around the NFL is the Raiders have interest in Geno Smith with that third overall pick in the draft,” said Mortensen, via Rotoworld. “Now I can’t get this confirmed...

Former Denver Bronco linebacker Bill Romanowski was ordered to pay about 5 million in back taxes, according to David Migoya of the Denver Post, after getting caught up in a horse breeding scam. Raiders Reportedly Interested In West Virginia QB Geno Smith

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that the Raiders are interested in West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith with the third overall pick in April's draft. Smith certainly fits the Raiders profile: he has a strong arm and he was the fastest quarterback at the combine. And, sure, there could be legitimate interest but Oakland, an outfit that won four games last season, has more...

Barret Robbins doesn't remember Super Bowl XXXVII

Former Oakland Raiders receiver Tim Brown called out his former coach Bill Callahan for allegedly sabotaging the Raiders in their Super Bowl blowout loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.   When he made those allegations Brown mentioned that Callahan changed the game plan and center Barret Robbins begged Callahan not to change it. "Barret Robbins begged Coach Callahan, '...
