Blake Baratz, the agent for Packers tight end Jermichael Finley, uses his Twitter account to voice his opinions about the NFL, but he’s receiving attention for questioning the leadership of Aaron Rodgers in a recent tweet. Baratz was tweeting on Friday morning about Thursday’s Packers-Bears game when the leadership subject came up. It started with a tweet from Baratz criticizing Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. “Jay Cutler, u serious in ur press conf last night?U sound like a 6 yr old who just had his animal crackers taken. Quit being a b— (edited for profanity), own up,” Baratz tweeted. “There’s a major difference & drop off in leadership from Manning, Brees, Brady, to the next best QB’s in the league. Cutler doesn’t get it,” he later wrote. When someone asked him why he didn’t include Rodgers on the list, he elaborated. @joe_smith07 ARod is a great QB he isn’t a great leader. There’s a major difference. Leaders take the blame & make every1 better. He doesn’t —

  • Baratz didn't find fault with his client
    Jermichael "Butterfingers" Finley. If
Finley didn't have so many drops and
fumbles the Packers would be undefeated
    now.
  • right on binkie...Finley had butterfingers last year too. have baratz look in mirror before casting stones....

Jermichael Finley’s agent calls out Aaron Rodgers

Jason WhitneyAaron Rodgers was called out by Jermichael Finley’s agent Blake Baratz Public enemy number one in Green Bay may very well be Jermichael Finley’s agent, Blake Baratz. He may have done the unthinkable and that is calling out Green Bay’s favorite athlete, Aaron Rodgers. It all started with Jay Cutler’s press conference, when Baratz criticized him via Twitter. That...

Jermichael Finley’s agent not an Aaron Rodgers fan

Agents can make you a lot of money with their words, but they can also make you out to look like a spoiled, ungrateful individual in the process. Green Bay Packers tight end, Jermichael Finley, has an agent that is doing the latter. Blake Baratz, the agent who is doing a fine job of undermining [...]

Jones: Rodgers apologized after outburst

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It's not often that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers publicly berates a teammate. It was relatively easy to avoid lashing out last season when Rodgers had 45 touchdown passes and just six interceptions, a year that concluded with his winning the NFL's Most Valuable Player award. But with Green Bay's offense struggling by comparison so far this season...

Agent questions Rodgers' leadership

First, the agent for Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley took a shot at Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler after his performance in the Bears’ loss last Thursday night. But Blake Baratz didn’t stop there. He also threw a backhanded verbal jab at Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Baratz took to Twitter last Friday to call out Cutler for his leadership ability and went on to...

Brett Favre Vs. Aaron Rodgers: Who’s the quarterback king of Green Bay?

When Brett Favre chose to not properly groom and mentor Aaron Rodgers to become the next starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, he not only created a controversy, but he broke an unwritten contract that is supposed to exist between a current starting quarterback and an heir apparent future starting quarterback in the nfl. Although, Number 4 will always be a hero to many fans...

Where, Oh Where Did Packers' Aaron Rodgers Go?

Two games into the NFL season and Aaron Rodgers hasn't played lights out, not even close to it. If you picked Rodgers for your fantasy team, you most likely used a first round pick on the QB. That's a big investment with little return to show for it as of now. Currently Andrew Luck and even Matt Cassell have more passing yards than the Packers' MVP QB.  Matt Ryan has...

James Jones says Aaron Rodgers is “a natural-born leader”

Earlier today we mentioned that the agent of Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley came out and stated that Aaron Rodgers isn’t a good leader. Packers wide receiver James Jones has the opposite opinion of Rodgers. “He’s a natural-born leader, not just by what he says but how he carries himself, how he plays the game, how he handles certain situations,” Jones said...

Packers WR Jones shrugs off scolding by Rodgers

Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones says he deserved the recent scolding he got from Aaron Rodgers. Jones acknowledges that his play in Thursday's victory over the Chicago Bears deserved scrutiny, and is shrugging off any temporary tension as a sign of two players showing their competitive nature. Beyond that, Jones says there's no reason for anybody to think twice...

Week 2 Fantasy Football Recap: Chicago Bears - Green Bay Packers

Chicago Bears – 10, Green Bay Packers – 23This game didn’t really go as planned for anyone here, including Aaron Rodgers (213 total yards, 1 TD, 1 INT).  Rodgers ended up with barely over 200 total yards and one touchdown against one interception, for a very pedestrian total.  That makes two weeks where Rodgers numbers have been very low considering where he was taken in...

Fantasy Football: Missing In Action

Should fantasy owners be concerned about the poor play of Aaron Rodgers? Aaron Rodgers QB, Green Bay Packers The guy who I told everyone to take with the No.1 pick in the offseason isn’t even performing like a 1st round pick after 2 games. Through 2 games Aaron Rodgers has looked like an average QB , throwing 3 TD’s to 2 INT’s. While some of his struggles can be attributed...

Chicago Bears Gameplan: Defense Week 3 vs. Rams

The Chicago Bears defense played well enough to win in the week two game against the Green Bay Packers.  They allowed only one offensive touchdown and sacked Aaron Rodgers five times in the game.  There wasn't much the defense could have done better given they got pressure from all four defensive line positions and Tim Jennings had a second consecutive strong game. The Bears...

Week 3 QB Rankings

Week 3 QB Rankings Cam Newton tops our list this week after he set a career high in rushing yards last week. Superman (SuperCam) looks near impossible to stop when he decides to run it in the red zone and with the emergence of Brandon LaFell, owners can now be confident that Newton has two legit receivers to throw to. I have RGIII ranked high following week two’s matchup with the...

Lions denied by stingy 49ers defense

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- The San Francisco 49ers stymied 2011 NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers in Week 1, then record-setting Matthew Stafford in Week 2. This stingy, opportunistic defense is again making its mark as one of the league's best facing the top offenses and most prolific passers -- and that you can shake on. The Niners denied Stafford another milestone, Vernon Davis caught touchdown...
