The Raiders signed QB Matt McGloin to a two-year contract in May and hopes he can be a factor in their quarterback competition..
McGloin is coming off a productive season at Penn State under former New England Patriots offensive coordinator now Penn State coach Bill O’Brien, where he threw for over 3,000 yards and 24 touchdowns-leading the Big Ten.
McGloin is working out with the Lakeland football team [In Pennsylvania], but when he gets back to camp July 24th in Napa Valley he’ll be competing with four other quarterbacks at Raiders camp.
He talks about his upcoming challenge and his relationships with the other QB’s.
“It’s exciting to be part of a great organization to be competing with great guys and professionals on a daily basis is something you dream of as a child and for now for it to be a reality is great.
