PLAYERS: Tyler Wilson
TEAMS: Oakland Raiders

According to the National Football Post, the Oakland Raiders were ready to jump on quarterback Matt Barkley in the fourth round of this year’s draft, but the Eagles snatched him up earlier in the round. Although he fell down draft boards, and was only the fourth quarterback selected in April, there remain some talent evaluators who still suggest that Barkley could be the best quarterback, over the long haul, from the 2013 class. By the way, the Oakland Raiders were of such a mind, and planned to jump on Barkley with their fourth round pick, before Philly took him with the first selection in the stanza. The Raiders then opted for a fallback, Tyler Wilson of Arkansas. While Wilson was impressive at times for the Raiders this spring, Barkley will likely be better Need NFL Tickets? Sorting Out Oakland’s Secondary Plans

On paper, the 2013 Oakland Raiders’ secondary looks extraordinarily better than what was put on the field in 2012. General Manager Reggie McKenzie did his best in dealing with a salary upheaval and a token of draft picks to put the best talent he could on the field. It took late in the season for him to realize that he had a “secret weapon” and decent cornerback in Phillip...

NFL Films' Greg Cosell speaks highly of Raiders' 2013 draft class

Raiders wanted Matt Barkley over Tyler Wilson

The Oakland Raiders had their eyes on a mid-round quarterback in last April's draft, and it wasn't Tyler Wilson. According to Len Pasquarelli of the National Football Post, the team was all set to "jump on" USC's Matt Barkley. As we know, the Philadelphia Eagles swooped in and took him away, and their 'fallback option,' Tyler Wilson came aboard. ...

Official Video: Chris Kluwe tells Conan the NFL is OK with a pro-gay agenda as look as you're not shooting people

In one great clip, Raiders punter Chris Kluwe tells Conan O'Brien explains his gay rights work, how good a curser he is, and...that the NFL is ok with your political stances just as long as you're... Full story at Bob's Blitz ~ http://www.bobsblitz.com

Why does everyone hate on Chris Kluwe?

Chris Kluwe has become one of my favorite athletes.  He’s not afraid to voice his opinion regardless of who likes it or not.  He’s been very vocal in the fight for equality.  Yet so many people seem to ignore him (like the 32 NFL teams)or chastise him.  Several radio hosts have said the reason Kluwe may not be signed yet is because NFL teams may not want to deal with questions...
