We aren’t sure whether Georgia Poole can lay claim to being the oldest living Washington Redskins fan in the world at the age of 99, but it is going to be tough to disprove it, as she made her way to the team’s training camp. Oh, and this is not just some old school fan who only remembers the days of ‘Slingin’ Sammy Baugh. Nah, she’s a full-fledged Robert Griffin III groupie.

When asked what she would say if given the opportunity to meet the second-year quarterback who is battling back from major offseason surgery, Poole said, “I’d be so excited, I’m not sure what I’d say.” Well, she knew exactly what to say when he sauntered over to her.

I love her passion, and her proclamation about the Super Bowl, and her stern warning to keep safe. Much more respectable than the fan who lost her mind a week ago.

Poole will turn 100 on Aug. 16.
