PLAYERS: J.J. WattOwen Wilson
TEAMS: Houston Texans

Via The Victory Formation:

Texans fans, fear not.  Your star defensive lineman, perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate, and all-around star player JJ Watt did not break his legs in a serious car accident. Or at least, not yet.

Yesterday, it was reported across multiple outlets that Watt had been seriously injured in a car wreck in Miami, including two broken legs.  However, Watt is perfectly fine.  He wasn’t even in Miami yesterday, and to the best of our knowledge, does not have two broken legs.

In today's Internet age, this kind of rumor is easy to start and even easier to catch on like wildfire. I mean, how many times has Twitter killed Morgan Freeman or Owen Wilson now? It's got to be at least five times each. Watt should be proud that his star shines brightly to even be considered the target of such a rumor — it's not just anybody that the Twitter rumor mill sets its gaze upon.

Watt took to his own Twitter account to dispel the rumors, explaining that he's fine and ready to go for the upcoming season. I'm sure quarterbacks across the NFL are just thrilled to hear the news.

Watt: Reports of injury in car wreck are fake

J.J. Watt's is not in Miami and his legs are not broken. Also, there is not a doctor somewhere out there waiting for a Facebook status to get a million likes before he can save a little girl, nor can you charge your iPhone with an onion and those photos of the 10-inch spiders in Iraq are fakes. The Internet, man. Fake media reports. I'm perfectly fine, relaxing after...

QB Colin Klein is scoring points with Gary Kubiak

Undrafted rookie quarterback Colin Klein has been participating in the Houston Texans rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, not as a signed member of the team as reported earlier. Teams wanted to see him work out as a tight end at the combine, but he refused, and it's been said often...

First-round draft pick DeAndre Hopkins drew rave reviews as the Houston Texans began a three-day rookie mini-camp on Friday. Coach Gary Kubiak said he was impressed with the 27th overall pick from Clemson. The Houston Texans are reportedly interested in free agent inside linebacker, Karlos Dansby. Dansby had one of his most productive seasons in 2012 for the Miami Dolphins when he posted 134 total tackles, which was 15 over his previous high in 2008 with the Arizona Cardinals. DeAndre Hopkins Fantasy Forecast

All the talk of was squarely focused on wide receivers Tavon Austin and Cordarrelle Patterson coming into the 2013 NFL draft. Yet post draft, talk has been building around a player that I had rated number one at the receiver position, DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins exploded in his 2012 campaign, posting 82 receptions for 1405 yards and 18 touchdowns, overshadowing fellow receiver,...

While Rogan makes the point that Mayweather isn’t suited for Rousey’s ground game in the octagon, he completely ignores several factors. The first...
