I’m not catching on Juan…
Justin Blackmon came out in the preseason swingin’ and throwing blows. This impressive preseason showing has painted a target on Blackmon’s back. The Jaguars showed their hand too early and they are paying for it when it matters the most. Blackmon may be facing top corners, but what difference does that make when your QB can’t get you the ball.
Blackmon has a ton of talent and exhibits all the makings of a top ten NFL wideout. Much like Larry Fitzgerald’s situation, theres nothing you can do if your not getting the opportunities. He only got 4 targets and he is their#1 wideout!!! Those of you that own him know exactly how many of those passes he hauled in this week…a big, fat, goose egg. Zero, zilch, nada…The Jags offense pretty much consists of a one man wreaking crew that is Maurice Jones Drew. I have him in 1 of my leagues and I’m going to stash him on my bench until I see consistent production.

A Tale of Two Streakers from Last Weekend: Jacksonville Jaguars Loser vs. Ole’ Miss ‘Rebel’
For the record, running onto the field during an NFL or even college football game is probably the dumbest idea going. You’re getting arrested and you might getting walloped by one of the brain-dead neanderthals playing. Clearly, it’s a wildcard after watching these two videos.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are 0-2 this season, and it doesn’t appear they can catch anyone on the...
Jaguars without CB Cox, G Britton against Texans
The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without cornerback Derek Cox and guard Eben Britton against AFC South rival Houston.
Cox and Britton are inactive for Sunday's game. Both had been listed as questionable.
Will Middleton will start in place of Cox. Veteran Herb Taylor, signed off the street Monday, will start at guard after just three practices - none in full pads. Taylor hasn...

Jaguars' Gabbert leaves game with leg injury
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert left Sunday's 27-7 loss to the Houston Texans with a left leg injury in the fourth quarter. Gabbert, who was replaced by Chad Henne, walked off the field under his own power. The injury did not appear to be serious but no official status report was provided. Gabbert was just 7-for-19 for 53 yards, his lowest yardage total as a pro.
Jaguars CB Derek Cox, OG Eben Britton Among Inactives For Week 2
Labeled as game-time decisions by coach Mike Mularkey on Friday, the Jaguars today will be without left guard Eben Britton (ankle) and cornerback Derek Cox (hamstring).
The big news is that Herb Taylor, signed on Monday, will start at left guard instead of rookie Mike Brewster.
Middleton will get the call at cornerback for Cox.

Jaguars Sunday Primer: 3 Things to Watch
Divisional games for the Houston Texans always seem to be an adventure for the team, especially when the Jacksonville Jaguars are involved. Despite the Texans taking both games in 2011 (24-14 and 20-13), there is reason to use caution in their first meeting in 2012.
Look no further than the Jaguars best player in Maurice Jones-Drew and what he can get between the tackles and moving...
All about the defense in week 2
Last weekend was rough. The Jaguars jumped out to a quick 9-0 lead, but promptly blew it before throwing a go-ahead touchdown with 20 seconds left. Then, they allowed the Vikings to nail a 55 yard field goal and lost in overtime. In other words, it was a heartbreaker, and it wasn't the offense's fault.
Week 2 brings the perception of a greater challenge. I word it that...

Jacksonville Security Complete Ignores Fan Running Across The Field
The Jacksonville Jaguars security is really top notch. This fan ran around the field for 55 seconds during a commercial break on Sunday when the Houston Texans defeated the Jags 27-7. I don’t remember a time when a fan lasted this long on any type of professional field. What is more amazing is that only one, ONE, security guard even attempted to grab the guy.
