For those of you who do not know what on earth is the UFL, it's the United Football League. It's a new "pro" (term used loosely) football league currently playing in 2 cities, San Francisco and Las Vegas and in 2 metropolitan areas, Central Florida and in the New York City metro area. To be honest, I don't know diddly about the UFL, save for a little I read about it in Peter King's SI MMQB column, poking around the UFL website and stumbling across a game on the Versus Network last Thursday. It was football, which was good. But it wasn't good football, which is bad. It's not like I'm starved for football right now as it is, with the NFL and NCAA in full swing. Why would I want to watch Arena League rejects playing in a Triple A league? Will the UFL be another American Football League, or the next WFL/USFL/World League/XFL/Arena League? It'd bet on the latter, though I'm surprised the league has made it to the point of actually playing ...
