We wrote earlier today about Green Bay Packers CB Tramon Williams taking it upon himself to take ownership of the name "Optimus Prime" after Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman already used it a few weeks ago. Williams told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel "I'm definitely Optimus Prime," adding that  "guys like Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman, they talk about how physical they are -- but Calvin was pushing those guys around the field like it was nothing." Well of course, being the adults that they, we're going to see some back and forth from these two for the next few days at least...

  • Earth to Jeremy's dumbass.. everyone knows greenbay won. you can't talk shitt about a team that everyone in America (aside from naive, spineless pricks like yourself) knows won that game. On a more general note, the seahawks shouldn't be talking **** to anyone because last time i checked their superbowl count's at 0...

  • Talk to Bill Leavy he told the Seattle media that he kicked some important calls that impacted the game.(Seattle vs Pittsburgh)By the way Bill Leavy's crew did the super bowl.
  • The last i checked the Seahawks got the win. Get over it cheese dicks. I just hope that we tie the green bay peckers for the wild card. OH MY! Guess who owns the tiebreaker? Seattle owned the Peckers that day. Peckers have no defense. Defense wins championships.'Nuff said
  • Can't we all just get along and kick each others ass! Everyone disses the Hawks...primarily those news media boys and girls and teams East of the Mississippi. Remember, Seattle the team somewhere up there close to Alaska? Yeah. We don't count for anything! We up here near our brothers in Alaska don't think so. We can be as good or bad as anyone...period! Get the hell over yourselves Eastern rednecks!

Pete Carroll on Mark Sanchez: “It has to be really hard on him”

Pete Carroll knows a little about the media pouncing on their prey. He took every attack the Boston media threw at him while he was head coach of the New England Patriots. After his dismissal from New England, he went back to sunny Southern California and built a powerhouse USC program that turned him into an icon in those parts. Carroll also knows young quarterbacks and Mark Sanchez...

Seattle Seahawks: Week 11 NFL Power Rankings (#9)

Last week: 10 (+1) Record: 6-4 Remember two weeks ago when everyone thought the sky was falling for them when they were 4-4 after losing to Detroit. And two weeks before that everyone thought they were great when they were 4-2 and coming off a win against New England. Well, now they’re 6-4 and everyone thinks they’re great following a blowout win over the Jets. What happened...

Seattle Seahawks: Beating the bye, circadian rhythm

Seahawks: By the Bye The Seahawks have some clockwork to do this week. Below is featured each bye week from the first bye week in Week 4, through (yet to be elapsed) Week 11 and their outcomes. I was interested in seeing how the league, in general, has fared after a bye week. Of course, it stands to reason that superb teams should win after a bye. With one exception, the Chargers’...

Seahawks: Week 10 O-D-ST in a “nutshell pictorial.”

Seahawks: Week 10 Off/Def/Spec. teams: “nutshell pictorial”…but first a consumer experience. Mind you, my good friends, I am taking my leisure with this pictorial and a sniff of Glenmorangie 12. The benefit with a simple straIGHTFORWARD PICTORIAL, HERE IS THAT I’LL LESS LIKELY MISSPELL the text of my composition. I take this liberty on this rare occasion when I don’t have...

Moments in time…The Seattle Seahawks week that was

Two in a row baby! Yes that’s right, your Seattle Seahawks have won two games in a row, and now take that momentum heading into their bye week. Up next for the Seahawks is a show down in Miami against the Dolphins against another ex Pete Carroll star, Reggie Bush. With 6 games remaining, the Hawks look to be in a great spot, and should be able to get into the post season barring...

Jets vs. Seahawks: Some things to love & hate from Sunday

Grounded The Seattle Seahawks hosted the New York Jets Sunday in what was considered a must-win game for both teams. While there is great parity between the two teams’ records, a lot was on the line for both. Seattle is fighting for a playoff spot while the Jets are fighting themselves and the media circus they’ve created. With that playoff spot in mind, Seattle players seem...

Seahawks who impressed against the Jets Sunday

Seahawks win it in second half Seattle Seahawks 28, New York Jets 7 When: 1:05 PST, Sunday, November 11, 2012 Where: CenturyLink Field, Seattle, Washington What started out as an awful first half of football by both teams, lead to a second half of football that was the most complete half of the 2012 season for the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks showed that they are mean, they are...

Which Seattle Seahawks Didn’t Vote Because They Didn’t Know Absentee Rules?

I know I just talked about how much I love The Real Rob Report, but this voting edition is so hilarious. In this video, we find out which Seattle Seahawks voted, who they voted for, why some didn’t vote, and who they would have voted for if they would have voted…which they didn’t. Also, Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman (briefly) comment on current coverage rules vs. the...

How the Seahawks Measure Up: Week 10 Edition

(Note: Since I was redoing my spreadsheets anyway, I went ahead and revamped the tables I've been using for the stats articles as well.  That part took a heck of a lot longer than I thought it would, but such is life.) Entering their bye week, the Seahawks’ record stands at 6-4 with six games left to play in the season.  Last year, the team was 4-6 after ten games, and...

Playoffs?

Louis Bacigalupi posts comments on the site as LouieLouie.  He’s an accountant by trade and worked in a USFL front office.  He can be reached by email at Louie@fiercelyI.com. Don’t talk about playoffs. Actually, let’s talk about the playoffs.  We could get all hung up on tie-breaker scenarios and the what-ifs, but if the Seahawks can get to 10-6 they should be in the...
