NAPA The Napa Police Department on Friday announced it was reopening its investigation into the matter of Raiders assistant coach Randy Hanson, who says his jaw was broken by a team staff member earlier this month.
In a press release issued by the department, the Napa police said the case was reopened because "new information has come to light."
That new information likely stems from an Internet report Thursday that Raiders head coach Tom Cable allegedly attacked Hanson during a meeting that included several other assistant coaches.
Nationalfootballpost.com reported that Cable allegedly knocked Hanson off a chair and onto the floor during the meeting, choking the assistant coach and saying: "I am going to kill you! I am going to kill you!"
The Napa Police Department did not release a report, saying the matter was ongoing. Also, the Napa County District Attorney's office said it had not received a police report and thus was not investiga...
