That's the way I saw it. His knee was bent until he saw an opportune moment to straighten it, in order to hit Schaub in the groin. Sometimes, I think that the sports announcers would be better than refs. Then there's another call that gave the Texans a cheap touchdown. So there were enough bad/missed calls to rile up both sides, Texans and Lions.

The NFL needs to step in in a big way here. Something along the lines of if your a repeat offender that is fined for dirty hits / dirty play then your salary (no matter what your contract says) goes to the league minimum for a year. Sounds harsh but some of these guys dont care about fines for 20,000, 10,000 etc. When your making millions, that is not really that much.
They can even call it the "Suh rule".

To me in the replay above his head is toward the ground as his foot hit him in the groin. Not sure how everyone thinks he is purposely kicking him there when not even looking where his foot is going. When is the NFL grow the pair that Suh kicked today. Fines don't mean a thing to him, as he feels he has never done anything wrong and the league is just picking on him. This guy needs a suspension long enough to cost him some serious money and cost his team. If he is in fact a valuable player, then losing him for 8-10 games will get his team mates on his arse. It is legal to chop a defensive lineman's knees. I don't know why, but it is legal. They claim you could never have a running play if the o lineman couldn't do that. At any rate, what Suh did was after the fact. The quarterback already let the ball go. It was not to stop the play. Suh's leg was coming down, he brings it back up and out. Bringing it back up and out was a conscious act. This has no place in any football game anywhere.

Honestly watching the video I can see where people think he did it purposely. Being thrown down like he was his momentum would carry his leg out like that and to be honest I can see the extra lil kick at the end I dont think he ment to kick him in the balls but you all see what you want to see. I agree--Nebraska is not known for dirty play on the field. Football is a tough game without intentional hits. This makes me ashamed to say that he came from Nebraska. He should be dealt with in a more monetary manner, where it would really hurt him..

Obviously FOUL. Suh, while a very talented & powerful player, is simply a dirty player. He took advantage of the situation to try & make it look like an accidental kick, but it clearly was intentional. I hope he gets suspended; there's no room in the game for unsportsman like conduct and he is the poster child.
