Suh has now been fined a total of $209000 and docked another $165294 for his two-game suspension for stomping on a player on Thanksgiving Day 2011. Suh wasn't flagged for the hit which occurred just after Davone Bess dropped a short third-dow pass late in the first quarter. But NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino said Tuesday in a video on that Suh "lowered his head'' when he speared Weeden in the chest. Suh didn't even know the NFL was reviewing the play but wasn't surprised to receive his seventh career fine. “I think there’s always going to be a microscope on me...

Cleveland Browns Fan Posts ‘Quarterback Wanted’ Craigslist Ad, Says ‘If You Can Throw a Ball, Come Apply’

Brandon Weeden just isn’t cutting it in Cleveland in the minds of some fans. The Browns seemed to have some semblance of a shot this season, but one fan has grown impatient with the team’s quarterback, so that fan has taken to the best place to find whatever random thing you are looking for — Craigslist — in search of a new signal caller. Weeden has a 71.4 passer rating and...

NFL Fines Detroit Lions Ndamukong Suh For Hit On Brandon Weeden

The NFL has fined Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh yet again, this time $31,500 for a hit that he put on Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden. Ironically, the Lions were not penalized in last Sunday’s victory over the fine-worthy play. No QB change coming for the Browns

Browns QB Brandon Weeden hasn’t been playing high level football. He may have had the ugliest interception of the season when he tried to backhand a pass against Detroit that eventually resulted in a TD. That was one of two interceptions on the day for Weeden. Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that that doesn’t open the door for backup Jason Campbell. Chudzinski...

Hysterical Craigslist job posting for Cleveland Browns QB

It isn't getting any better for Brandon Weeden, especially after he launched this pass last week against the Lions: The Cleveland Browns were having a bit of a renaissance when Brian Hoyer took over, but the offense is inept, once again, now that Weeden is back in a starting role. The team is back in the Tanking for Teddy sweepstakes, but one fan in the Cleveland area is willing...

Can the Browns give fans anything to believe in this year?

It’s a confusing time to be a Browns fan. I guess it’s always a confusing time to be a Browns fan, but this is a conundrum almost unlike any other since 1999. The Cleveland Browns might not be traditional trailblazers, but they do find new and interesting ways to confuse their fans. The Cleveland Browns are in contention right now, but they’re really not. Their record says...

Browns OL Joe Thomas: ‘Brandon Weeden can Lead Us to Playoffs’

It appeared that the Browns had given up on the 2013 season after an 0-2 start and trading RB Trent Richardson to the Colts.  Then Brian Hoyer came along and led the Browns to consecutive wins before he was injured in a Thursday night game vs. the Bills.  Brandon Weeden, who was the starter, came in the game and led the Browns to victory and first place in the AFC North. Despite...

Turner has seen better QBs throw worse interceptions than Weeden

These words actually left our mouth the other day: "The Browns' season went down with Brian Hoyer." We weren't kidding either. After leading Cleveland to two straight wins Hoyer suffered a torn ACL against the Bills in Week 5 paving the way for the return of Brandon Weeden the team's 2012 first-round pick who has been to put it kindly underwhelming. In last...
