A Nebraska assault trial for New England Patriots rookie Alfonzo Dennard has been delayed again.
Online court records say that on Thursday a Lincoln judge granted Dennards request to move the trial to the February 2013 jury term.
Dennard was granted a delay in July that would have put off the trial to at least next month.
Hes pleaded not guilty to a felony assault charge and two related misdemeanors.
Prosecutors say Dennard assaulted a police officer on April 21 outside a bar in Lincoln, where he played cornerback for Nebraska.end of story marker Source: Associated Press Attached Thumbnails

Aqib Talib could be the answer the Patriots have been looking for at cornerback
The Patriots traded for (no longer) suspended cornerback Aqib Talib on Thursday, improving their atrocious secondary and getting what could be a shut-down corner. They gave up a 2013 4th rounder, and also received a 2013 7th rounder. Talib has had his fair share of run ins with the law, but we all know...
Tom Brady: "We have to go out there and earn it"
Tom Brady knows a little about earning his keep.
Three championships, Five Super Bowl appearances and two MVP's and he still talks like a player who's not done yet. Brady has been his usual carry the team self, bit he's had help in a solid running game, and he's not throwing as much as usual.
As Brady nears the end of a Hall of Fame career, he spoke about what...

Ridley, who became more of a noticeable figure last year, has become the featured...

Busy Bye Week Leaves Patriots Roster Shaken Up
The Patriots sure weren’t quiet during their bye week, bringing in new faces who included, most notably, cornerback, Aqib Talib.
Well, we’re in the midst of the annual worst week of the fall. No, I’m not talking about daylight saving time or the cancellation of the New York Marathon because of Hurricane Sandy smashing the East Coast or even the presidential election on Tuesday...

Can the Patriots offense get better?
If you ask Tom Brady, yes. Yes, it can.ProFootballTalk“I hope so. I hope we make improvements,” Brady said, via the Boston Herald. “There’s still a lot of football left. We’re 5-3 so that tells you we’ve been a little bit up and down. It hasn’t been terrible. It hasn’t been great and we have a lot of room for improvement, so we’ll see how that goes over the course...
Patriots On The Bye, But Still Making Headlines
The Patriots don’t have a game this weekend, but they remain in the headlines thanks to yesterday’s deal for troubled Tampa cornerback Aqib Talib.
The deal, which cost the Patriots a fourth-round pick in the coming draft (and got them back a 7th rounder) has been the subject of much debate and discussion already, with much of the talk centered around Talib’s considerable rap...

Patriotic Halfway Awards
Here we sit halfway through the season chilling and recovering on our bye week. What better time to evaluate the team across the board and hand out some awards to those that have worked hard through the season.MVP - LB/DE Rob NinkovichObvious choice here is Tom Brady. But I'm thinking outside the box here. This award is going to go to LB/DE Rob Ninkovich. Heading in to week 9...
