Vikings Gab:
The Minnesota Vikings had upgraded in their secondary with the acquisition of safety Madieu Williams; unfortunately for the team, they will be without the services of Williams for awhile as according to ESPN.com, Williams, based on information coming from unnamed sources, will miss at least 6 weeks with an undisclosed neck injury.? Williams had missed the Vikings' preseason opener against the Seattle Seahawks last Friday with neck spasms.
The Star-Tribune reported that it is unknown when the injury occurred and Vikings head coach Brad Childress would not disclose or address the injury as he is not required to do so during the preseason; Williams wouldn't disclose the severity of the injury, adding,
"I'm not allowed to discuss the condition of my injuries.? I think that's something that you've got to talk to coach [Brad] Childress about, or the trainers."
