Fox Sports Wisconsin:
Green Bay Packers
New Orleans Saints
Three weeks into the NFL Network's countdown of the top 100 players currently in the NFL, there have already been a couple Packers sightings, with many more to come as they draw closer to No. 1.
Starting on April 28, NFL Network started by unveiling the first 10 players, ranked 100-91. Every Wednesday night until the finale on June 27, the next set of 10 players are announced.
In the show's debut, Packers fullback John Kuhn was ranked the 92nd-best overall player in the NFL. That was better than quarterback Tim Tebow and running backs Chris Johnson and Marshawn Lynch, as well as the hundreds of other players who didn't make the shows' cut at all.
Kuhn, the 29-year-old former undrafted player out of Shippensburg College, was named to his first Pro Bowl this past season. Though he's not relied upon offensively in Green Bay, four of Kuhn's 30 rushing attempts in 2011 led to touchdowns. Kuhn also added two receiving touchdownsin 15 total catches.
In this past Wednesday night's show, Jordy Nelson joined Kuhn on the top 100 list. Ranked at No. 80 overall, Nelson ranked ahead of several notable names, including Tony Romo, wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and running backs Michael Turner, Darren Sproles and Fred Jackson.
Though Nelson still has yet to make his first career Pro Bowl, he had a breakout year in 2011. Nelson finished ninth in the NFL in receiving yards with 1,263 and third in touchdown receptions with 15. Entering last season, Nelson had only six career touchdowns. Nelson, who will turn 27 at the end of May, had a huge game in the Super Bowl with nine receptions for 140 yards with one touchdown.
As the top 100 countdown continues, the Packers could end up leading the list as the team with the most selections. Players like Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings and Clay Matthews are all sure to make the list, with Charles Woodson and B.J. Raji as highly likely to be named, as well. If those five all make it, Green Bay would finish with seven out of the top 100. That could be a difficult number for any other team to beat.

Packers Free Agent Ryan Grant
Since this has unofficially become running backs week at AllGBP.com, I’ll chime in with some thoughts on the one guy who hasn’t been mentioned, Ryan Grant.
This is also the first in what I hope will become a series of “I have a feeling” posts, based on nothing more than what my gut tells me and intended to spur active discussion and debate. So...
Minnesota Gophers RB and Packers undrafted free agent Duane Bennett.
If you’re looking for a position group on the Packers roster that might be infiltrated by an undrafted free agent, running back is a strong possibility.
Ryan Grant is likely gone, James Starks can’t stay healthy, Alex Green is coming off a bad knee injury and Brandon Saine is unproven. Here’s a look at the...
The Packers have signed DT Jerel Worthy
With rookie camps set to begin today for the Green Bay Packers, it is quite encouraging to see numerous rookies signing contracts before camp starts.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Jerron McMillian is the first Packers' rookie to officially sign with the team.
McMillian's agent, Abu Toppin, discussed the full terms of the contract. McMillian received a 300,584 signing bonus and has a first-year salary base of 390,000.
The four-year deal is worth a total of 2.4 million over four years. McMillian's second-year base salary is 480...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- In order for the Green Bay Packers defense to put last year's disappointing season behind them, it's going to take strong performances from their top six draft picks. With a defense last season that gave up more passing yards than any team in NFL history, there were plenty of areas for the blame to fall on. There wasn't a strong pass rush from the outside...
GREEN BAY, Wis. On the first day of rookie orientation camp, the Green Bay Packers announced the signings of seven of their eight 2012 draft picks.
A day after safety Jerron McMillian's agent confirmed that his client was the first to sign with the team, the Packers made official the addition of all of their picks except linebacker Nick Perry, the team's first-round choice...
As the Green Bay Packers come into the 2012 season there’s some uncertainty at the safety position since Nick Collins was released a short time ago. Veteran cornerback Charles Woodson has made it clear that he’d be open to moving to safety if it’s the best move for the team.
“I think that it comes down to what the other guys are going to be able to do as far as the cornerback...

Now that the 2012 NFL Draft has come and gone, it is a perfect time to project what the Green Bay Packers 53-man roster might look like when the season starts.
Training camp is still a three months months away, so...
Considering where he was only a few years ago, it's crazy how big-time Aaron Rodgers continues to become. The Packers quarterback, who golfs fairly regularly with Michael Jordan and has become a regular at some of the biggest non-football events like the Kentucky Derby, was recently named the most marketable player in the NFL by the Sports Business Journal.
So in addition to...
GREEN BAY, Wis. When quarterback B.J. Coleman was drafted in the seventh round by the Green Bay Packers, the former Tennessee-Chattanooga star was hoping to stay in touch with his mentor, Brett Favre.
Two weeks later, with Coleman now in Green Bay for rookie minicamp, he has still not received a message of any kind from Favre.
"I'd like to have a great relationship with...
Aaron Rodgers keeps winning. He helped the Green Bay Packers win Super Bowl XLV to cap off the 2010 season. Rodgers followed that up by making a mockery of NFL defenses for the better part of 2011 on his way to being named the league’s MVP. Newly crowned Miss America Laura Kaeppeler gave [...]
Nine days before the end of the world happens, the Green Bay Packers and their fans will have one last great celebration in honor of star QB Aaron Rodgers. The state of Wisconsin, because it doesn’t have anything better to be focused on, passed a resolution that December 12, 2012 will be known as Aaron [...]
It’s a day that every boy dreams about as a kid but only a few get a chance to live out. Today is the day that the 2012 Packers draft class reports to Green Bay for the first time. Eight draft picks, about twenty undrafted free agents, and a few space fillers tryout players will work through the weekend getting their first taste of the NFL life.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist...
