Ballertainment Sean Taylor remembered by ESPN and former teammates Five years ago today, NFL player Sean Taylor was shot in his home while trying to protect his family from intruders. He died from his injury and the loss of his life changed everyone around him forever, especially that of the young daughter whom he never got to watch grow. ESPN filmed a tribute to Taylor and it includes interviews from former college (Miami) and NFL (Redskins) teammates Antrelle Rolle (who grew up with Seanin Florida), Clinton Portis, Ed Reed, Chris Cooley, and Santana Moss. Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder is also featured. Snyder’s Redsksins drafted Taylor with the 5th overall pick of the 2004 NFL Draft. The saddest part of this video for me is Santana Moss breaking down while thinking about the loss of Sean. The most poignant scene is the footage of his daughter at his funeral. She was totally oblivious in her little girl toddler world. I wonder how she is doing now… Washington Redskins Sean Taylor Tribute Sean Taylor HIGHLIGHTS.
