As expected, the Colts weren't quiet on Tuesday's off day as they signed cornerback Anthony Madison and released defensive end Josh Thomas. Don't know much about Madison other than what you find on the Internet. He was undrafted in 2006 and has bounced around a bit, with Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay that season, the Steelers again in 2007 and 2008, then Cleveland for a spell this season before his release on Nov. 3. What's interesting about Madison is that, according to his Steelers bio, he led them with a career-high 25 special-teams tackles in 2008. He had 11 in nine games with the team in 2007, too. So he will help special teams.
