Found October 31, 2013 on The Football Fan Spot:
Last week: 4 (-2) Record: 6-2 It needs to be said. Tom Brady looks more like a former 6th round pick than a 3-time Super Bowl winner this year. ProFootballFocus’ grades him out as the 24th ranked passing quarterback out of 37 eligible. I thought it would get better when Rob Gronkowski returned, but in his 2nd game back Brady completed 13 of 22 for 116 yards, 1 touchdown, and an interception against a weak Miami defense and really didn’t look good. They won by 10 on the strength of their defense, which will get better with Aqib Talib expected to return this week and that’s the reason they’re still a top-10 team (along with the potential that Brady gets better), but you could argue they deserve to be 3 spots lower. If they don’t have a good showing against the Steelers this week, they’ll move further down. Tom Brady will let his son stay up late to watch Game 6 of World Series, which is nice

‘South Park’ made fun of Tom Brady again and it was glorious

Tom Brady is really liking this running thing

Tom Brady is really enjoying his rushing stats, so much, he remembers them all. Literally. According to Patriots center Ryan Wendell that is. Tom Brady is seemingly carrying the offense this year, both with his arm and legs. Brady called his own number on fourth and 4 and not only got the first down, got an extra four yards. Patriots' Josh McDaniels says Steelers make you earn it downfield

The Pittsburgh Steelers' uncharacteristically-bad start to the 2013 season hasn't been due to a lack of defense. Despite sitting at 2-5, the Steelers are giving up the second-fewest passing yards per game and are surrendering fewer than 22 points a game. They're ranked fourth overall in total defense. Much of their success on that side of the ball can be attributed to...

Vote: Which Boston Championship Turnaround Was Most Surprising?

The “Worst to First” war cry has been echoing throughout New England all week but this 2013 World Series title isn’t the first time a Boston-based sports team won a title just one year after being irrelevant. In 2001, Tom Brady led the Patriots to a Super Bowl title over the “Greatest Show on Turf,” the St. Louis Rams, after going 5-11 the previous season. The 14-point...
