New England Patriots (1-1) at Baltimore Ravens (1-1)
Yes, the Patriots to the Cardinals lost last week. No, it’s not the end of the world. In 2010, they lost to the Browns. In 2011, they lost to the Bills. Neither of those games meant anything. They won 14 games in 2010 and 13 games in 2011. This is still the most consistent franchise over the past decade. This is football. Sometimes **** happens that doesn’t make any sense and is completely unpredictable that doesn’t mean anything.
But it is important to look at how the Patriots lost to the Cardinals. The Patriots outgained the Cardinals 387 to 245 and averaged 5.0 yards per play to the Cardinals’ 4.0 and they won the turnover battle 2-1. As a result, the Patriots led 6 drives into scoring range to Arizona’s 4. However, the difference was, on New England’s 6 trips into scoring range, they scored just 1 touchdown and settled for 5 field goals, one of which was the potential game winner, which missed. Arizona scored 2 touchdowns and ...

Boston.comDick Costolo, the chief executive officer of Twitter, was asked Friday at the Online News Association's annual conference who is the top person not on Twitter he'd like to see join the social media service. His response: "The quarterback of the New England Patriots, Tom Brady."Brady's not on twitter but I'm pretty ok with that. I hear enough about...
So, I meant to write this post last week after he won AFC Offensive Player of the Week, but ended up getting sidetracked by something else and by the time I went to write it, it didn't seem topical anymore. But, with the Ravens coming up and everyone and their brother fighting over the chance to blow Joe Flacco (SFW), I think the time has come to proclaim this for all to hear...
Tom Brady Set To Battle Ravens -
Both teams played each other for the AFC Championship just one whole season ago. And after week 3, one of these teams will be below the .500 mark.
And you can bet your bottom dollar that Tom Brady will keep his eyes on the Ravens defensive anchor, Ray Lewis.

At age 72, Fran Tarkenton still has his opinions on the NFL, but maybe he should start keeping them to himself. The former quarterback said both Peyton Manning and Tom Brady aren't at the level they used to be. Tarkenton, who was a draft pick of the AFL's Boston Patriots in 1961, told the Pioneer Press that "Brady hasn't looked like Brady in two years." Tarkenton...
Down Goes Brady! Down Goes Brady! -

Can Brady, McDaniels and the Patriots start clicking again?
It was embarrassing. It was a choke. It was a trap game. It was exactly what the Patriots could not afford; an injury to stud TE Aaron Hernandez. The silver-lining is such, it was only week two of the 2012 season. The Patriots lost to the Bills in week three last year — there is time to develop and overcome early season...
The NFL's replacement officials are no good for football, no one is debating that -- well, no one but Cortland Finnegan. But like many players and fans of the game, Baltimore Ravens safety Bernard Pollard has had enough. Pollard, who might be best known for ending Tom Brady's 2008 season and injuring Rob Gronkowski's ankle in the AFC Championship Game last season, joined...
The Arizona Cardinals vs. the New England Patriots in Foxborough.
If you saw this game on the NFL schedule, then it’s pretty obvious who you would expect to come out with the victory. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have had a tendency over the past decade to win the games that they were “supposed” to win. If you’re the gambling type, or you’re in any type of...
Deion Branch is back in New England, and the Patriots are excited to get the reliable No. 84 back on the field. After being a last-minute cut during roster trim downs on August 31, Branch's locker in the Patriots locker room has remained in tact with the expectation being that he'd find his way back onto the roster. Well, on Wednesday, he did just that. Unlike Kellen Winslow...
Patriots Insider Michael Reardon's next installment of "Tale of the Tape" shows how the Patriots offense line broke down vs a typical stunt in the Cardinals game and why Tom Brady didn't have his usual time to throw.

Wide receiver Deion Branch is back with the New England Patriots.
Branch signed with the Patriots on Tuesday, rejoining the team that cut him three weeks ago, according to the NFL.com.
Branch should have no trouble fitting back into the Patriots offense after playing six of his 11 NFL seasons with the team. Branch and Tom Brady hooked up on 51 receptions for 702 yards and five...
Branch caught five touchdowns from Tom Brady last season, pricing a consistent option anywhere on the field.
It seems that the Patriots have found a part-time solution for the absence of Aaron Hernandez in the offense. According to The Boston Globe, New England has re-signed WR Deion Branch after cutting him in the pre-season. There are currently no details as to the numbers involved...
