The New England Patriots have headed north of the border to add two players to their roster. Last week, New England added intriguing prospect Armond Armstead. Armstead took to the Canadian Football Laegue after going undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft. The defensive end suffered a heart attack as a member of the USC Trojans prior to the 2011 season, and sat out the year. Vega has not been officially released from his contract as of yet with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers but he is expected to be announced by the start of next month.
Vega can play in either a 3-4 or 4-3 scheme and has recorded 12 sacks in the last two seasons with the Blue Bombers.
