It’s sometimes said that certain people are born to do a certain job.  That may never be more fitting than in the case of New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.  Gronkowski  was born in Amherst New York on May 14th 1989.  He was 11 years old when Tom Brady and the Patriots won their first Super Bowl against the St Louis Rams.  Jermaine Wiggins was the Patriots’ TE back then. At 6-6, 265 pounds Gronkowski  was taken with the 42nd pick in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft out of the University of Arizona.  Former New York Jets defensive end Dennis Bird was the 42nd pick in the NFL draft the year Gronkowski was born.
