New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick always talks about how the many ways to build an NFL team. There’s the Draft, free agency, waivers, trades, undrafted free agency, etc. As we all know the 2012 NFL Draft took center stage last weekend, yet just days after the drafts completion, Belichick is back to work building a roster, as the Patriots have re-signed defensive tackle Gerard Warren, according to Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com. Last season, Warren played in 10 games for the Patriots but had very little production with only eight tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery. However, Warren is a reliable veteran that has the ability to play multiple positions along the defensive line, which makes him a valuable depth option to New England. The Patriots did address their defense during the 2012 NFL Draft but did little up front, as the three front-seven players drafted by New England, Chandler Jones of Syracuse, Dont’a Hightower of Alabama and Jake Bequette of Arkansa...

FOXBORO, Mass. -- Bill Belichick can't be overly happy with one of his good friends. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh brought up Spygate on Tuesday morning, causing several hours of rabid criticism. Even though the intention of Harbaugh's comments were initially misconstrued, the mere mention of the Patriots' scandal continues to keep it in the news. That's not the...

Do the New England Patriots Deserve an Asterisk for the Spygate Scandal?

From 2001 until 2004, the New England Patriots stood atop the National Football League as a dynasty. The word “dynasty” is rarely used throughout sports and when it’s brought up you think of teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers of the 1970s, the San Francisco 49ers of the 1980s and the Dallas Cowboys of the 1990s—and now the Patriots of the early 2000s.  But when the...

He could fit that exact mold again in 2012...
