Found June 18, 2013 on FF Locker Room:
The New England Patriots have signed potential sleeper RB George Winn. Winn, who went undrafted this spring out of Cincinatti, is now with his second team after being released from the Jaguars in May. Mel Kiper called Winn his #1 undrafted sleeper following the draft. While getting released from the Jaguars isn’t a good sign, maybe just being around the Patriots can help Winn continue later in the year. The Patriots surely do not need him at the moment and he will be cut before the final roster but anytime the Pats do something the league takes notice. If for some reason Winn was able to stick, his name would be worth remembering. Currently New England has Stevan Ridley, Shane Vereen, Brandon Bolden, LeGarrette Blount and Leon Washington in their running backs stable.   The post New England Patriots Sign Sleeper RB George Winn appeared first on FFLockerRoom | Fantasy Sports Advice | Sports News | Sports Talk |.

Does Aaron Hernandez’s Legal Issues Make Room For Tim Tebow?

I knew he would come in handy one way or another. Many people were confused when the New England Patriots signed Tim Tebow. There is no room for him, they said. With Tom Brady and Ryan Mallet at quarterback, why do you need Tebow? One word, versatility. Tim Tebow is as versatile as they come. His physical attributes make me think that he could line up at other positions on offense...

Ras-I Dowling, Adrian Wilson Among Defensive Winners of Patriots’ Offseason

The Patriots’s offseason program came to a close a day early last week and sent the players into full vacation mode for the next month or so. The vacation time doesn’t exactly consist of lounging around on the couch and playing video games all day, at least not for the Patriots. Defensive end Chandler Jones proved that theory with an early-morning tweet about his trip to the...
